Israel, Tel Aviv – here we start!

Although our destination is Palestinian Authority, just as any other traveller we had to fly via Israel. It is because all ingoing and outgoing traffic in Palestine is controlled by Israel and you have only few checkpoints on the Israeli-Palestinian border through which you can enter the Palestinian Authority. Does not matter if you are international traveller or native Palestinian.

After answering many standard questions of the airport border guard and assuring that we are only party-loving tourists willing to spend a lot of money in Israel, we finally heard: “Welcome to Israel”. We reached the hostel at 5:30 am, late enough not to pay for the whole day. We needed to recover after 12 hour long trip so we decided to rest one day in Tel-Aviv. To cut the long story short: Mediterranean Sea, beach, sun, wind, waves, kite-surfers, heat in winter, small beer for 4.5€, jetlag, hostel rooftop party… A-lot-of-fun…
